Prop Coach is a browser extension that helps prop-firm futures traders track their firm's rules (daily loss limit, trailing drawdown, consistency) against today's results. It has two parts: a thin coach bar across the bottom of your trading tab, and a side panel with setup, the full coach view and your trade log.
What you type into it: the firm and program you pick, account values (starting balance, balance, high-water mark, drawdown, limits), your stop risk, and the wins and losses you log. These are stored in your browser's local extension storage on your device.
What the coach bar reads from your trading page. On tradingview.com, tradovate.com, topstepx.com, topstep.com and ninjatrader.com only, the bar looks for short text labels that the page already shows you (net liq / account value / balance, realized, open and day P&L, trailing drawdown level, daily loss limit, high-water mark) and takes the number next to each label. It uses those figures, in memory, to work out your daily room, floor room and state. They are never written to storage and never leave the page. To find them, the bar scans the page's short text (text nodes of 40 characters or fewer, re-checked shortly after the page changes) for those labels and keeps only the matched figures; everything else is discarded and nothing is stored. The bar also keeps one setting in that site's own local storage: whether you collapsed or expanded it.
Optional local feed. If you turn on the NinjaTrader feed in setup, the bar and the panel read the bridge's account snapshot, a small JSON file, from a bridge program running on your own computer, by default at http://127.0.0.1:8787/coach.json. The snapshot holds the account name, balance, start-of-day balance, today's realized and open P&L, open positions, a timestamp and the raw NinjaTrader portfolio payload the bridge received (accounts and orders). The side panel saves three things from it to local extension storage: the start-of-day balance, the high-water mark and the latest P&L snapshot (P&L, realized, start balance, peak, time), so the trailing floor and day roll survive a reload. The rest is used in memory and discarded. The coach bar saves nothing from the feed. The feed is off until you turn it on.
Your Loomi account. Prop Coach is a subscription (a free week, then $9 a month). To use it you sign in with the email and password of your Loomi account; the panel sends them over HTTPS to Supabase, the sign-in service loomiai.io uses, and then asks that service which Loomi products are active on your account. It keeps a yes/no answer and your email on your device and re-checks about twice a day. It also fetches a small public settings file from loomiai.io (the product id and checkout link). Payment itself happens on a Stripe checkout page in a normal browser tab; the extension never sees card details. Your trades, account figures and log never travel with any of these requests.
Prop Coach has no analytics and no server of its own. It makes four kinds of network request and no others: the optional feed above, to your own machine; the sign-in and subscription check above, to Supabase and loomiai.io; the font request below; and nothing else. None of your trading data is sent anywhere. Data leaves your device only when you choose to export your sessions as a file, and only to the location you save it.
Fonts. The side panel and options page load the Barlow, Barlow Condensed and JetBrains Mono typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) each time they open. That request carries your IP address and the extension's origin to Google and is covered by Google's privacy policy; it carries none of your trading data. The on-page coach bar does not make this request.
It does not read pages on any website other than the five listed above. It does not connect to your broker or prop firm's API. It never places, modifies or cancels orders. It does not alter the trading platform's own controls; it only adds its own bar. It does not sell, share or transfer data to anyone. It contains no remote code.
Turn the feed off in setup. Collapse the bar with its tab. Export your sessions as JSON, start a new session, or uninstall the extension at any time; uninstalling removes all extension storage. The one collapsed/expanded flag lives in the trading site's own local storage and stays there until you clear that site's data.
