Prop Firms That Allow Automation: TradingView to Broker, Firm by Firm

Four of the ten futures prop firms in Loomi's Prop Zone allow automation in writing on their own help pages: MyFundedFutures, Tradeify, FundedNext Futures and Lucid Trading. Topstep allows it through its own API on some account stages. Apex and Take Profit Trader ban it outright. Take Profit Trader's help center, updated September 22, 2026, says: "We do not allow any automated or bot trading of any kind" (>Take Profit Trader).

Why this changes so often

TradersPost, which routes TradingView alerts to brokers, says it best: "Futures prop firm rules change frequently, often by program, platform, and account stage, so any static list goes out of date quickly" (>TradersPost). It also warns that its own connection list "reflects platform support, not any individual firm's current account agreement."

Keep that in mind. A platform that connects is not a firm that approves.

The firm-by-firm table

We opened each firm's official help center or rules page on the date above. Where we could not, the row says so.

Firm Automation allowed? Key conditions (official wording) Status
Topstep Yes, on Trading Combine and Express Funded, via API "Custom automated strategies and bots are allowed via the TopstepX / ProjectX API." Live Funded accounts "are not allowed to trade through the ProjectX API." HFT banned. VPS use "can result in account suspension or removal." Verified
Apex Trader Funding No "No Automation or Algorithm Usage allowed." Verified
MyFundedFutures Yes, with limits Automated strategies allowed "so long as these automated tools do not aim to exploit the favorable fills" in sim. HFT "not allowed." Live automation "must abide by CME guidelines." Verified
Take Profit Trader No "We do not allow any automated or bot trading of any kind." Verified
TradeDay Restricted Bans bots or ATS "purchased from a third party," strategies producing "more than 200 trades in a day," and VPN/VPS use to mask location. Self-built automation is not addressed directly. Partly verified
Tradeify Yes, with conditions You must prove "you are the sole owner of the bot," may be asked for "a live video of you enabling the code on your own PC," and can't use it across multiple firms. No HFT bots. Verified
Earn2Trade Unclear Bans "software, artificial intelligence, or ultra-fast data entry techniques that could potentially manipulate the trading environment or provide an unfair advantage." Trade copiers "not allowed on any of our programs." Unclear, ask support
FundedNext Futures Yes "EAs and bots are allowed on both the Challenge and FundedNext Account," through platform integrations connecting to Tradovate. FundedNext does not support setup. Verified

Firm notes worth reading twice

Topstep. The automation path is the TopstepX API. It costs $29/month, or $14.50 with Topstep's code (>Topstep). Topstep's prohibited strategies page, updated June 10, 2026, also bans "scalping algorithms designed to exploit unrealistic SIM fills" (>Topstep). Whether a TradingView webhook service can reach a TopstepX account is unverified here. Confirm with Topstep.

Take Profit Trader. A TradersPost article from February 2026 said TPT allows third-party tools "at the trader's risk" (>TradersPost). TPT's own help page, updated September 22, 2026, now says no automation of any kind. The firm's page wins.

Lucid. Its HFT page defines HFT as "a high volume of trades within extremely short time frames, often measured in seconds or even milliseconds." A first violation gets a written warning. Repeat violations can mean confiscated profits, a closed account and a permanent ban (>Lucid). Loomi's Prop Zone reports a flag when more than half of an account's profit comes from trades held 5 seconds or less. That page did not show the threshold, so treat it as unverified.

Earn2Trade. The copier page, updated June 22, 2026, says "All trading must be your own." The conduct page does not say "no automation" in those words. Get a written answer before you connect anything.

How the TradingView-to-broker chain works

At an allowed firm, the chain has four links:

  1. Strategy on TradingView evaluates on bar close and fires an alert.
  2. Webhook sends that alert to an execution service. Webhooks need a paid TradingView plan, such as Essential, Plus or Premium, and TradingView only sends to ports 80 or 443 (>TradersPost).
  3. Execution service such as TradersPost checks size and symbol, then sends the order.
  4. Broker platform your prop account runs on fills it.

Platform matters. The TradersPost TPT article notes that Tradovate/CQG connects to TradersPost and Rithmic-based platforms do not (>TradersPost). Check which platform your firm put your account on before you buy.

A five-step compliance check

TradersPost's advice, condensed (>source):

  1. Get written confirmation from the firm. Platform support is not approval.
  2. Check each piece separately: signals, execution software, VPS and multi-account copying can each have their own rule.
  3. Follow the strictest rule across evaluation and funded stages.
  4. Paper trade first.
  5. Keep dated screenshots of the rules and support replies.

How to use it on the Loomi.Ai Desk

The Prop Zone is Loomi's rulebook for 10 futures prop firms and 95 account tiers, "compiled from each firm's own official pages." The firm pages are dated as of 2026-09-05, and the Prop Coach rules catalog was re-verified on 2026-09-16. Use it to check drawdown, daily limits, platforms and conduct rules for your exact program.

Loomi Full Auto is the execution add-on: $79 per month, which includes up to 5 active strategies; every strategy you run after that is a $19.99 per month add-on, on top of a Desk membership ($8/mo intro, then $20/mo). Per the pricing page, "the invite-only strategies fire TradingView alerts routed through a service like TradersPost to your broker." You "choose the strategies, the sizing, and the broker; automation follows your rules."

So the firm choice is yours, and so is the compliance. Do not connect Loomi Auto to an Apex or Take Profit Trader account. Their rules say no automation. At firms that allow it, confirm in writing first and paper trade the routing.
